Their abilities look too much like "Magic". One of the universal rules of artistic design for Psychic abilites is to make sure that it doesn't look like magic.

Max Life of 100 Total is bad though. I gain rank but get no benefit. Also, If I make someone discard From Beyond sometimes it still does damage.

so there i was, just having passed the barricade, and all the sudden stamina bar gets big drops to zilch and i'm dead. Is that some sort of preview feature?

Just leave a bunch of tanks waiting at the other side of the filed and farm till you can get choppers using the stop button.

Work on the character art a little bit, and do something about the horrendous lag whenever new enemies come onscreen
